Apparatus and method for estimating motor RPM in electronic brake system
An apparatus for estimating a motor RPM in an electronic brake system may include: a current signal amplifier configured to amplify a voltage applied across a motor driver by a current which flows while the motor driver is turned on, the motor driver being included in a motor driving circuit configured to apply motor driving power to a motor or remove the motor driving power according to a switch-on/off of the motor driver; and a controller configured to detect a waveform with a one-period time from periodically repeated waveforms by processing the signal waveform amplified by the current signal amplifier, calculate a one-rotation time based on the one-period time and the number of commutators of the motor, and calculate a motor RPM using the one-rotation time.

Eddy Current Sensor for a Rotary Shaft and Rotary Shaft Apparatus
An eddy current sensor for a rotary shaft and a rotary shaft apparatus. The eddy current sensor includes: a housing; one or more position detecting probes provided on the housing; and a rotating speed detecting probe provided on the housing. The eddy current sensor integrates the position detecting probe and the rotary speed detecting probe, such that while the eddy current sensor is detecting position displacement of the rotary shaft, the eddy current sensor may also simultaneously detect the rotating speed of the rotary shaft, which facilitates detecting and monitoring the rotary shaft more comprehensively. The detected position data and rotating speed data of the rotary shaft correspond to each other at any time, such that the working state of the rotary shaft may be analyzed more intensively.

Rebar tie wire reels for reinforcing bar binding machinery
A rebar tie wire reel (110) for a reinforcing bar binding machine has a first flange (118), a second flange (120) spaced from the first flange, a hub connecting the first and second flanges and a wire (124) wound around the hub. The first flange (118) has an outwardly facing major face (134) and an outer periphery. The outer periphery is defined by a plurality of edges (170, 172, 174, 176). The plurality edges include a first edge (170) and a second edge (172) that are configured such that, in use, an amount of rotation of the rebar tie wire reel can be determined using signals provided by a movable element of a contact sensor when during rotation of the wire reel, the first edge, major face and the second edge successively travel past the movable element.

METHOD AND STRUCTURE FOR POSITION DETECTION
A method and structure are disclosed for simultaneous detection of the relative positions between first and second members of each joint in a multiplicity of joints in a system. In the multiplicity of joints, as the relative positions between the first and second members of a joint change, a position-sensitive vibration source associated with that joint generates a vibration signal with a characteristic frequency spectrum. Vibration signals from the multiplicity of joints combine into a mixed vibration signal. This mixed vibration signal is detected and separated into individual characteristic frequency spectra by a vibration-detecting device to enable simultaneous monitoring of the positions of each of the joints in the multiplicity of j oints. Joints may be rotary, linear, or a combination of joint types.
