The conductive insert is a power transmission element of the contact probe and the arms are structural support elements of the contact probe during a deformation of the probe body.

The elastic probe element includes a main body, a first contact segment, and a second contact segment that are integrally formed. The main body has a plurality of needle structures, and any two adjacent needle structures have a gap arranged therebetween. The needle structures are connected to each other through a first connection part and a second connection part arranged at a first end and a second end of the elastic probe element, respectively. The first contact segment is arranged at the first end. The second contact segment is arranged at the second end.

A contact element system has a plurality of pin-type or needle-type and electrically conductive contact elements of equal length, which each have two end regions for electrically contacting contact positions and each have an intermediate region under longitudinal loading, overcoming their bending rigidity, and are designed with lamellar sections in the intermediate region such that they have at least two strips which are substantially parallel to each other and run at a distance from one another. A probe card device and a self-aligned probe are provided. The self-aligned probe includes a fixing end portion configured to be abutted against a space transformer, a testing end portion configured to detachably abut against a device under test (DUT), a first connection portion connected to the fixing end portion, a second connection portion connected to the testing end portion, and an arced portion that connects the first connection portion and the second connection portion. The fixing end portion and the testing end portion jointly define a reference line passing there-through. The first connection portion has an aligned protrusion, and a maximum distance between the arced portion and the reference line is greater than 75 μm and is less than 150 μm.

The two predetermined lines respectively extend across the first slots. In a plane that the disposable adjustment film is located thereon, when the disposable adjustment film is applied with forces that act in opposite directions and that are parallel to any one of the first slots, the disposable adjustment film is broken into two abandoned films along the two predetermined lines.

The contact of the present invention is a spring contact which is integrally formed by blanking and bending a metal plate member and includes an elastic portion made of various strips of certain pattern and a tip provided at both ends of the elastic portion. Preferably, an inner volume of the contact is filled with a filler having conductivity and elasticity, whereby durability and electrical characteristics are excellent. Further, the test socket according to the present invention is a rubber type employing the above-mentioned contact and has an advantage that it is suitable for testing a fine pitch device.
