Antenna in package production test
A test assembly for testing an antenna-in-package (AiP) device includes a socket over a circuit board, where the socket includes an opening for receiving the AiP device; a plunger configured to move along sidewalls of the opening, where during testing of the AiP device, the plunger is configured to cause the AiP device to be pressed towards the circuit board such that the AiP device is operatively coupled to the circuit board via input/output connections of the AiP device and of the circuit board; and a loadboard disposed within the socket and between the plunger and the AiP device, where the loadboard includes a coupling structure configured to be electromagnetically coupled to a transmit antenna and to a receive antenna of the AiP device, so that testing signals transmitted by the transmit antenna are conveyed to the receive antenna externally relative to the AiP device through the coupling structure.
DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC TEST OF INTEGRATED ANTENNAS
A test set-up for testing a system-in package with an integrated antenna is described herein. According to one exemplary embodiment, the test set-up includes a carrier with an RF probe arranged thereon and a test socket with resilient electric contacts. The test socket is mounted on the carrier and provides an electric contact to interconnects of the package when it is placed on the test socket. The test socket has an opening which is arranged superjacent to the RF probe.
REFLECTIVE AND INTERFERENCE CONTROLLED ABSORPTIVE CONTACTOR
An apparatus including a contactor having a hole and including a radio frequency absorptive material and a probe inserted in the hole to couple a test signal to a device under test is disclosed. A test system for testing integrated circuits including a contactor including a radio frequency absorptive material is disclosed. A method for making the contactor is also disclosed.
TESTING DEVICE FOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT PACKAGE
A testing device for testing an integrated circuit package is provided, including a printed circuit board, a testing socket, a conductive fastener, a cover, and a conductive element assembly. The printed circuit board includes a first metal layer formed on the bottom surface thereof. The testing socket is disposed above the printed circuit board. The conductive fastener is configured to secure the testing socket to the printed circuit board, wherein the conductive fastener is electrically connected to the first metal layer and the testing socket. The cover is disposed above the testing socket to form a space for accommodating the integrated circuit package between the cover and the testing socket, wherein the cover makes electrical contact with the integrated circuit package. The conductive element assembly is disposed between and electrically connected to the cover and the testing socket.
SOCKET AND TOOL
A socket includes a pin block on which a plurality of contact probes are installed, a pin plate configured to hold the plurality of contact probes together with the pin block, and an engagement portion configured to engage the pin block and the pin plate with each other. The engagement portion is configured to detachably engage the pin block and the pin plate with each other.
METHODS AND ASSEMBLIES FOR TUNING ELECTRONIC MODULES
Evaluation board (EVB) assemblies or stacks utilized in tuning electronic modules are disclosed, as are methods for tuning such modules. In embodiments, the module testing assembly includes an EVB and an EVB baseplate. The EVB includes, in turn, an EVB through-port extending from a first EVB side to a second, opposing EVB side; and a module mount region on the first EVB side and extending about a periphery of the EVB through-port. The module mount region is shaped and sized to accommodate installation of a sample electronic module provided in a partially-completed, pre-encapsulated state fabricated in accordance with a separate thermal path electronic module design. A baseplate through-port combines with the EVB through-port to form a tuning access tunnel providing physical access to circuit components of the sample electronic module through the EVB baseplate from the second EVB side when the sample electronic module is installed on the module mount region.

TEST SOCKET AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
The disclosure relates to a method of fabricating a test socket that supports a probe stretchable in a longitudinal direction. The method of fabricating a test socket includes forming a probe hole for accommodating the probe in a base member made of a conductive material, filling the probe hole with a resin as an insulating material to a predetermined depth from an upper surface of the base member to form a probe support member; and forming a first support hole for supporting one end portion of the probe in the probe support member in the probe hole to expose the one end portion of the probe.
Testing device, testing system, and testing method
A testing device includes a testing socket and a reflector. The testing socket defines an accommodating space. The reflector is disposed in the accommodating space and has a plurality of reflection surfaces non-parallel with each other. The reflection surfaces define a transmission space.
TEST KIT FOR TESTING A DEVICE UNDER TEST
A test kit for testing a device under test (DUT) includes a socket structure for containing the DUT, and a plunger assembly detachably coupled with the socket structure. The plunger assembly includes a multi-layered structure having at least an interposer substrate sandwiched by a top socket and a nest.
